There's a dry hole between the new well and Tyrone Field. 7 Another Oklahoma well completed by Anadarko Petroleum Corp. is the #4 Mitchusson "A," in Section 29-5n-5w, Grady County. It flowed 349 bbl. of oil, 1.76 million cu. ft. of gas and two bbl. of water per day on a 64/64-in. choke through perforations between 14,314-14,404 ft. in Ordovician Bromide. The new producer is a development well in Chitwood Field. 8 Upper Morrow Sand, perforated at 7,945-58 ft., is the producing zone at the #1 Portwood, an Ochiltree County, Texas, deeper-pool opener completed by Upland Resources Inc. flowing 3.57 million cu. ft. of gas per day. Upland, of Tulsa, drilled the well in Section 22, Block 12, H&GN Survey, A-1081, in an area of Farnsworth Conner Field where oil is produced from approximately 6,700-6,900 ft. in Des Moines. 9 An exploratory drilling program being carried out by Abilene independent LCS Production Co. in Texas' Stephens County has resulted in a discovery that yielded a flow of 178 bbl. of oil and 110,000 cu. ft. of gas per day. The company's #1D Funderburk "A" was tested on an 8/64-in. choke through perforations at 4,390-4,402 ft., says IHS Energy Group. The only log top reported is that of Duffer Lime at 4,050 ft. The drillsite is in Section 1163, TE&L Survey, A-558. In Nolan County, LCS has completed the #2 Connally, an exploratory test in the Weaver Springs Field area, as a Permian Cook Lime discovery pumping 41 bbl. of oil per day. The well, located in Section 3, Block 6, T&P Survey, A-240, also produced 2,000 cu. ft. of gas per day. It's producing through perforations at 3,224-34 ft. 10 Interest owner International Oil & Gas Inc. , Dallas, reports the Cactus Energy- operated #1 Wood Reef in Hood County, Texas, encountered three major zones with shows of gas-Pennsylvanian Atoka sands and Mississippian zones including Barnett Shale-while being drilled to a total depth of 5,676 ft. in Ordovician Ellenburger. International says the wellbore will be conditioned and logged, and that, once all the information is in place, a decision will be made as to which zone or zones will be completed. The indicated discovery is in T.A. Wood Survey, A-611. Cactus Energy is based in Fort Worth. 11 A stepout which extended Velrex Southwest Field to the north into Texas' Irion County has been completed by TXP Inc. , San Angelo, flowing 103 bbl. of oil, 124,000 cu. ft. of gas and one bbl. of water per day from Permian Wolfcamp.
