Denver private equity firm Lion Equity Partners has acquired Warren Equipment Co.’s Global Compression Services (GCS), a global distributor of OEM and aftermarket parts and components for reciprocating natural gas engines and compressors, according to a Jan. 9 press release.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
GCS, based in Midland, Texas, also manufactures specific components and delivers a variety of services tailored to the natural gas sector.
Ari Silverman, co-founder and partner of Lion Equity Partners, said GCS has built an “exceptional reputation in the natural gas industry, recognized for its quality and commitment to customer satisfaction. We’re excited to partner with the GCS team as they continue to expand their offerings and drive growth within this critical sector.”
Anthony Speer, CEO of GCS, said Lion Equity’s expertise and resources will help strengthen the company’s market standing.
“Together, we will be able to pursue new growth opportunities that will allow us to better service our customers and position GCS for long-term success,” Speer said.
