Linde Plc is doubling the merchant liquid production capacity at its air separation facility in La Porte, Texas.
The facility connects to Linde’s Gulf Coast nitrogen and oxygen pipeline system extending from the Houston ship channel to Freeport, Texas. The expansion is intended to help meet growing demand for industrial gases in the U.S. Gulf Coast.
“Demand for industrial gases has continued to grow across the Gulf Coast,” said Amer Akhras, Linde’s vice president south region. “This investment augments Linde’s already robust industrial gases infrastructure in one of the largest economies in the U.S., deepening our network density and enhancing efficiency and reliability. The safe execution of this project on schedule is a testament to our world-class engineering and operations capabilities.”
