Proppant supplier Iron Oak Energy Solutions LLC is expanding in the Permian Basin with the acquisition of High Roller Sand, according to an April 2 press release.

The deal includes High Roller’s facility in Winkler County, Texas, which produces up to four million tonnes of proppant for oil and gas operators in the Permian.

The deal bring Iron Oak’s total production capacity is now 34 million tons per annum. Iron Oak now operates five large-scale facilities in the Permian: four in Winkler County and one in Crane County.

Iron Oak also operates two facilities in the Eagle Ford Shale in Atascosa and Dimmit counties, Texas, and two northern white sand facilities in Wedron, Illinois, and Tunnel City, Wisconsin.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
