IOG Resources II (IOGR II), backed by First Reserve, and Elevation Resources, backed by Pine Brook Partners, have entered into a Permian Basin development partnership, Dallas-based IOG said in an April 10 press release.
As part of their 2025 program, the partnership will focus on drilling 10 horizontal Barnett wells in the Permian’s Andrews County, Texas.
The company said this venture marks the sixth investment for IOGR II and the 18th for IOG Resources’ platform.
Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP provided legal counsel to IOGR II. Financial details or percentage ownership of the joint development were not disclosed.
