Honeywell and SAMSUNG E&A are collaborating to provide solutions that combat emissions from power plants globally.
SAMSUNG E&A, a global energy solutions provider, will leverage tech manufacturer Honeywell's carbon capture technologies, such as its solvent, according to a Sept. 17 release.
Between 2023 and 2030, Honeywell estimates that the company's carbon capture utilization and storage technologies will have a cumulative impact of mitigating 320 MMmt of CO2 equivalent.
Ken West, president and CEO of Honeywell energy and sustainability solutions, said the partnership is “ready to help businesses meet growing carbon mitigation expectations and increasingly stringent environment goals by abating emissions from existing sources."
