We begin with Floyd Wilson, formerly of Halcón Resources. Wilson recently launched Falconer Oil and Gas after his departure from Halcón.
In this video interview with Hart Energy’s Jessica Morales, Wilson said “If you come to a point in a business where you are bored, whether you are public or private, and you don’t agree with the direction that you should be taking, you have to move on. I’ve been around too much to think I am just wrong. I am wrong sometimes. I have been around long enough to know that some of my instincts are good. If I can’t convince some of the smart people that they should listen to me a bit. I should move on and I did.”
Wilson took time to reflect on his past ventures, but also outlined what he thinks will be the benefits and challenges of exploring opportunities in the Permian Basin.
