Presented by:
Chris Caudill, president and CFO of Infinity Water Solutions, is today's featured Forty Under 40 honoree.
Throughout his 15 years in the oil and gas industry, the changes within the sector keep Caudill motivated and passionate about the job and creating "transformative change" all over the world through energy.
"There’s just something romantic about the oil and gas business," he said. "Even though it’s under such scrutiny globally, our industry has created the modern world and is a leader in innovation."
Caudill's career has taken him down several different paths, leading him to work for an international lobbying firm, two U.S. presidential administrations and others, eventually leading to the founding of Infinity Water Solutions a year before the COVID-19 pandemic rocked the energy industry and the world.
Despite pandemic related setbacks, however, he was able to grow the company into a success.
"In time, with grit and determination, we steadily grew," Caudill said. "We now have several major contracts, infrastructure on the ground and patented technology. Sometimes it is the adrenaline of being so close to the edge that propels you forward. Resilience is my greatest asset."
With a "fail-forward" attitude, Caudill is continuing expanding Infinity, calling it his most challenging but also most rewarding project to date. He advises other young energy professionals to find a good team and not to fear failure.
