Boone Bajgier, manager of production engineering and well operations at Advance Energy Partners, is today’s featured Forty Under 40 honoree.
Advance Energy Partners is a Houston-based E&P company. Bajgier joined the company more than two years ago after spending six years at Anadarko Petroleum.
“Starting at a larger company like Anadarko, I learned the basics of production engineering and operations in two assets,” Bajgier said. “There were a lot of systems and support staff managing systems like production reporting, measurement, automation and optimization.”
“When I moved to Advance Energy Partners, I gained an appreciation of those systems and processes,” he added.
Bajgier’s impact on the team since joining Advance Energy Partners was immediate and significant, according to a statement by Randy Black, vice president of production operations at the company.
“I would have to say that I’m most proud of the operations team that we’ve assembled here at Advance Energy Partners,” Bajgier commented.
“When I started, we had a very small field staff and few processes in place,” he continued. “Since then, we’ve grown into a full-fledged operations team complete with HSE and regulatory standards, alongside the focus to minimize downtime and increase production.”
Backed by EnCap Investments, Advance Energy Partners focuses on acquisition and low-risk leasing and drilling opportunities in Texas and the Rockies. As of October 2020, the company held approximately 18,000 acres in “Tier One” oily areas of the Delaware Basin. The team also operates Mongoose Energy Holdings, which has approximately 10,000 acres in Pecos County, Texas.
