Viridien, formerly known as CGG, sold its Marlin vessel monitoring and alerts system to Exxon Mobil Guyana Ltd. to support its offshore operations, the company announced June 13.
As part of Viridien’s wider Sercel Marlin software suite for optimizing offshore operations, the Marlin system is designed to protect FPSOs and other high-value assets against a wide range of marine risks.
The solution’s real-time monitoring and proactive intelligence capabilities provide insight into vessel movements and operational parameters, as well as potential risks, enabling operators to make more informed decisions and enhance operational safety.
