Chris Tennant, senior vice president of EnLink Midstream, spoke with Hart Energy’s Jessica Morales at the recent DUG Executive Conference in Houston.
“They want emotionless, low-stress, daily delivery and takeaway of their product,” Tennant said of EnLink’s customers. “They don’t want weather events, they don’t want asset upsets, they don’t want price spikes.”
With the long-term contract model fading, LNG’s success as a commodity will rely on providers’ ability to put the product on the water as cheaply as possible.
In the week since our last edition of What’s Affecting Oil Prices, Brent rose $0.67/bbl last week to average $67.71/bbl.
