Here’s a snapshot of recent energy deals including Targa Resources’ $3.55 billion cash acquisition of Lucid Energy Group, leading privately held natural gas processor in the Permian with assets focused in the Delaware Basin, from Riverstone Holdings and Goldman Sachs plus Riverbend’s $1.8 billion sale of nonop assets from the Bakken to Haynesville, Devon Energy’s $856 million bolt-on acquisition of Warburg Pincus-backed RimRock Oil and Gas in the Bakken, BP’s exit from the Canadian oil sands through a swap transaction potentially worth up to CA$1.2 billion.
