1 Petsec Energy Ltd., Lafayette, La., plans three wells in Main Pass 19, offshore Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico. According to the company's exploration plan, the tests will be drilled from a single location in the northeast quadrant of the block in about 40 ft. of water. The proposed location is within 0.25-mile southwest of the nearest producer on Block 19, where the #2 OCS-G-1622 tested at 5 million cu. ft. of gas a day from one Upper Miocene zone and 1.12 million cu. ft. of gas a day from another. The shallower interval produced 2.82 billion cu. ft. of gas and 3,310 bbl. of condensate, while the deeper zone produced 1.63 billion cu. ft. of gas and 1,377 bbl. of condensate. Deeper recompletions produced another 1.18 billion cu. ft. of gas and 1,441 bbl. of water. 2 Independent S.
