Resumed operations at the 0.8 Bcf/d Cove Point LNG facility in Lusby, Maryland, boosted natural gas deliveries to U.S. liquefaction terminals located outside the Gulf Coast region, according to the Energy Information Administration (EIA).
As a result, average gas deliveries to U.S. LNG export terminals rose by 1 Bcf/d from last week to 13.7 Bcf/d, the EIA said in its Oct. 17 weekly gas update, citing data from S&P Global Commodity Insights.
