CNX Resources promoted Alan Shepard to the role of president, in addition to his current position as chief financial officer.
The company announced the decision on June 12, highlighting Shepard's contributions since rejoining CNX in 2020, including the development and execution of its capital strategy.
"The opportunity set for the CNX team to continue to create per-share value for our owners and to positively transform our Appalachian communities has never been greater," said Nick Deiuliis, CNX ‘sCEO.
Deiuliis praised Shepard's leadership and his role in creating shareholder value and supporting Appalachian communities. The promotion was unanimously approved by CNX’s board of directors. Shepard will continue to report to Deiuliis.
