Civitas Resources Inc. appointed Jeff Kelly to the role of chief transformation officer, the company announced in an Aug. 8 press release. The appointment is effective Aug. 3.
As chief transformation officer, Kelly will lead the company’s integration of recent acquisitions in the Permian Basin. Kelly will report directly to President and CEO Chris Doyle.
In the past, Kelly served as managing director of asset management at The Blackstone Group and various operational leadership roles at Anadarko Petroleum Corp.
“[Kelly] is a proven leader and brings experience across all aspects of our business,” said Doyle. “He will lead our transformation to a diversified business of scale and bring a disciplined and strategic approach that will ensure Civitas continues to execute its business and capture the tremendous value we see in our equity today."
