Less than a third of corporate board seats are now held by women, despite evidence that has shown that gender diversity in boardrooms can lead to higher credit ratings and improved stock performance. Statistics show the oil and gas sector continues to struggle to boost the number of women it has in leadership positions.

With little progress in the area amid increasing calls for gender diversity, what can oil and gas companies do differently?

Four female leaders joined Hart Energy for an extraordinary discussion on gender diversity:

  • Hillary H. Holmes, Partner and Capital Markets Global Co-Chair, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher
  • Josetta Jones, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, Chevron
  • Shelly Lambertz, Chief Culture Officer, Continental Resources
  • Jennifer Simons, Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel, Parker Wellbore

All four speakers, who are also honorees of Hart Energy’s Oil and Gas Investor Influential Women in Energy program, will be recognized at the 5th Annual Influential Women in Energy luncheon and networking event on Friday, April 29 at the Marriott Marquis hotel in Houston.
