APF Energy Inc., Calgary, plans to acquire CanScot Resources Ltd., Calgary, for C$34.9 million in cash or units of APF Energy Trust, plus assumption of approximately C$4.6 million in debt. CanScot, which has assets in Alberta and Wyoming, has current daily production of approximately 800 BOE, 81% gas. Total proved reserves are estimated at 200,000 bbl. of oil and 8.525 billion cu. ft. of gas. CanScot also has high working interests in long-life conventional and coalbed-methane properties and approximately 45,800 net undeveloped acres of land in Alberta and Wyoming. Endev Energy Inc., Calgary, has acquired Moxie Exploration Ltd., Calgary, adding daily production of approximately 5 million cu. ft. of gas primarily in southern Alberta and established reserves of approximately 1.6 million BOE. Kinloch Resources Inc., Vancouver, has acquired Nu-Sky Energy Inc. for approximately C$13.2 million in cash and approximately 9.1 million common shares of Kinloch. The combined company has production of 1,800 BOE per day. Assure Energy Inc., Calgary, has acquired 6.75 million common shares of Quarry Oil & Gas Ltd., Calgary, for approximately C$5.2 million, representing approximately 48.5% of the outstanding common shares of Quarry. Quarry's assets are in northeast British Columbia. The Canadian 88 Diversified Energy Fund 1991 LP plans to sell all of its assets to general partner Esprit Exploration Ltd., Calgary, for C$2 million. The partnership was formed in 1991 to explore for gas and oil in western Canada. Winstar Resources Ltd., Calgary, has acquired Warwick Energy Ltd., a private Canadian company, for 303,000 common shares and C$5.85 million. ABX Resources Inc., Vancouver, has acquired Expedition Energy Ltd., a private Alberta-based company with properties in Marsden, Saskatchewan.
