41. NEW-Adamant Energy Inc. has retained Scotia Waterous Inc. to seek strategic alternatives for the company.
The company has 64,000 undeveloped acres with core assets in the Peace River Arch and St. Anne areas and minor assets in the Watelet and Retlaw areas of Alberta. Production is 16.2 million cubic feet of gas and 305 barrels of oil and gas liquids for a total of 3,005 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Proved reserves are 5.7 million barrels equivalent and proved-plus-probable reserves are 8.2 million barrels equivalent.
The company is also willing to sell its Dixonville royalty interest separately. It features a 5.4% to 7.5% gross overriding royalty on the Dixonville Montney 'C' Pool and the associated farm-in lands. Net production is 110 barrels of oil and 114,000 cubic feet of gas per day.

42. NEW-Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. has retained Scotia Waterous Inc. to sell its Nisku-Grosmont oil-sands asset in Alberta.
The package includes a 100% working interest in 339 sections (216,690 acres) in the Nisku and Grosmont formations in the Athabasca oil sands. Estimated reserves are 5.7 billion barrels of bitumen.

43. NEW-Enco Gas Ltd. has retained Rundle Energy Partners to sell the company.
The assets include core areas in Alberta and British Columbia, with key properties in Sierra West, Smoky/Kakwa, Dahl, Bernadet, Windflower, Helmet and Buick Creek. Production is approximately 3,400 barrels of oil equivalent per day (95% gas).
Proved reserves are 486,000 barrels of liquids and 45.8 million cubic feet of gas and probable reserves of 97,000 barrels of liquids and 12.5 million cubic feet for total proved-plus-probable reserves of 61.9 million cubic feet equivalent.

The package includes an approximate 50% working interest on more than 9,000 gross acres in the Garrington area. Current production is approximately 87 barrels of oil equivalent per day, with proved-plus-probable reserves of 257,000 barrels equivalent (55% gas).

The assets are in noncore areas in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Production is approximately 7,700 barrels equivalent per day with proved-plus-probable reserves of 25 million barrels equivalent.
