Baytex Energy Corp. restarted production following a previous shut-down resulting from the Alberta wildfires, the company announced in a May 29 news release.

The full 24,000 boe/d production has been brought back online, with an estimated 12,500 boe/d curtailed for the month of May.
Baytex will continue to monitor the situation, as wildfires remain active in the company’s operating areas.
Baytex Energy is based in Calgary, Canada, with oil and gas production in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and the U.S.’ Eagle Ford.
