Aker Solutions’ dedicated consultancy arm will change its name to Entr, the company said in a May 23 press release.
Entr’s new name comes with an ambitious plan: double its revenue and headcount by 2030.
Aker Solutions launched its consultancy business in 2021 to engage earlier in the value chain and develop new specialist skills and offerings. The new Entr brand will work with operators, developers, governments, and investors to de-risk the commercial, technical, supply chain and ESG aspects of energy projects.
Entr’s offerings include business case analysis, conceptual development, technology selection and integration, regulatory processes and project execution management, among others. In first-quarter 2024, Entr secured more than 170 studies across several markets including low carbon solutions for oil and gas production, carbon capture utilization and storage, hydrogen and offshore wind.
