Over the last few years, we have taken several steps but we haven’t succeeded in our efforts to establish a Quebec energy industry. We think 2019 is the year of a new beginning.
A new government has taken office, one that has vowed to create more wealth in Quebec, one that wants a better balance between environment and economy. We think this is the right way to go. We also have some new things in our hand. Industry has learned it needs a new approach that balances people, planet, and profits.
New clean technology has been developed over the past ten years. We have new projects that will start to compete with solar and wind on environmental impacts. We are changing so much in fact that we think it is the time to redefine ourselves. So that our image corresponds with what we really do. At this year’s conference, we will announce a new name!
