Valeura Energy is producing oil from multiple locations after completing an eight-well drilling campaign in the Gulf of Thailand.
Two development wells in Block B5/27 from the Jasmine C platform, two out of three wells from the Ban Yen A platform and two wells from the Jasmine D platform are now producing oil, Valeura said.
A well drilled from the Ratree platform also encountered trace amounts of hydrocarbons.
CEO Sean Guest said the program is helping Valeura maintain a stable cash flow from the Gulf. Valeura is planning another drilling campaign on the block.
Valeura's contracted drilling rig is moving to the Nong Yao field, where the company plans a 10-well drilling program.
