Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping plc (OHM) announced that it is expanding its operations by moving to larger offices in both Houston and Singapore. The announcement follows the company’s recent commitment to a 5-year charter of a dedicated Atlantic survey vessel to launch in May of 2007.

The Singapore office, now based at the Singapore Science Park, is managed by Dr. James Tomlinson and will continue to provide crucial survey planning and data processing support for companies exploring for hydrocarbons in Asia as well as logistical support for clients participating in OHM’s controlled-source electromagnetic (CSEM) survey programs.

OHM is also moving its Houston-based team to new premises located in the Houston Energy Corridor. The move brings the company closer to a number of key clients and provides the space to expand the survey planning, data processing, data analysis and research facilities in Houston. The office will also accommodate OHM’s expanded American sales force.
