Verne Lundquist, Masters and professional sports announcer, to share exciting career highlights

The 10th annual Energy Capital Conference, scheduled April 17-18, will tee off with special guest-speaker, Verne Lundquist, a long-standing sports broadcaster with a famed career announcing for golf championships and other major professional sporting events. Following the annual Energy Capital Conference Golf Tournament, Lundquist will present as the guest speaker at the Welcome Dinner, attended by oil and gas industry leaders, business development professionals and financial experts. The following day, 12 executive-level speakers will lead discussions about best practices on how to acquire and exploit assets and other industry topics at the Omni Barton Creek Resort in Austin, TX.

From the Dallas Cowboys to the Winter Olympic Games, Lundquist has served as long-time voice for a full spectrum of professional and collegiate sports in a long-standing career dating to the 1960s. Famous for his phrase “Yes Sir!” after Jack Nicklaus’ winning birdie at the 1986 Masters, Lundquist will share stories from his years at the PGA Championship and Masters, in addition to some of the most thrilling moments in sports’ history.
