Sklarco LLC and its affiliated operating company, Sklar Exploration Co. LLC, are independent exploration and production companies owned and managed by Howard F. Sklar.
For more than 80 years and under the leadership of three generations, the Sklar family has prospered in the oil and gas industry. With offices in Boulder, Colo., and Shreveport, La., Sklar Exploration currently owns an interest in nearly 1,000 wells across the U.S. and operates about 100 of those wells. Currently, Sklar's areas of operation include Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.
