Description
A new field discovery was reported in the Zapadno-Gerasimovsky license block in Russia's Uvat Project by Rosneft. According to Roseneft, the discovery holds about 21 MMbbl of recoverable oil in the C1 and C2 categories from Bolsheparfenovsky and the new field called Tavricheskoye. A second well on the prospect is planned. The Uvat project is represented by a group of 15 license blocks (12 blocks in the southern Tyumen, and three blocks in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Yugra). Current oil and condensate reserves are estimated at about 2.34 Bbbl. The total area of the project is 26.6 M sq km. Roseneft's headquarters are in Moscow.
