Description

A Wyoming County, Pa., Marcellus Shale discovery was tested flowing 44.752 MMcf of gas per day. Chesapeake Operating Inc.’s #4H Trowbridge was drilled in Section 9, Laceyville 7.5 Quad, Windham Township. The Mehoopany Field well was drilled to 12,639 ft and a true vertical depth of 7,128 ft. It was tested after 24-stage fracturing, and production is from perforations at 6,830-12,624 ft.
