Description
W&T Offshore Inc. is under way and an offshore exploratory test, #1 OCS G34390, in Main Pass Block 286. It is in the eastern half of the irregular tract in 300 ft of water. Three previous exploratory tests have been drilled on Block 286, including a Williana (Pleistocene) gas discovery completed in 2003: #2SS OCS G19868 recovered 940 MMcf of gas through March 2005. The lone well in Main Pass Block 286 Field produced from perforations at 3,584-3,654 ft. W&T is based in Houston.
