A horizontal Woodford Shale well, according to IHS Markit, has been completed in Pecos County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, by Jagged Peak Energy LLC in an area of the Denver-based company’s ongoing Wolfcamp program. The #1H State Neal Lethco 34 pumped 558 bbl of 42-degree-gravity crude, 1.45 MMcf of gas and 470 bbl of water per day from acid- and fracture-stimulated perforations at 11,112-12,777 ft. It is on a 120-acre Delaware Basin lease in Section 34, Block 142, T&STL RR Co Survey, A-8673. Drilled to 13,251 ft, 10,644 ft true vertical, the lateral bottomed about one-half mile to the south. The company’s completion has apparently extended and re-established production in Oates Southwest Field.
