Description

IHS Markit reported that Houston-based Carrizo Oil & Gas Inc. completed a south-trending horizontal Wolfcamp gas producer in Culberson County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The Delaware Basin-Ford West Field discovery, #1H Fortress State Unit, is flowing 4.055 MMcf of gas, 478 bbl of 53.1-degree-gravity condensate and 2.423 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from acidized and fracture-stimulated perforations at 9,200-15,341 ft. It was drilled to 16,375 ft, 8,848 ft true vertical, and is in Section 3, Block 111, PSL Survey, A-8845. Gauged on a 38/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,435 psi and the shut-in tubing pressure was 2,215 psi.
