John O. Schofield Inc. is under way at a planned 5,400-ft. test in White County, Ill. The #3 Schofield-Maunie is in Section 25-5s-10e and is targeting deeper Devonian pays as a deeper pool test in Maunie South Consolidated Field. Wells in Maunie South Consolidated Field produce from shallower pays in the Pennsylvanian and multiple Mississippian pays, with the deepest production coming from Ullin (Mississippian) at 3,964 ft. Southwest of the current site is the company's #1 Slemaker-Schofield that reached 4,063 ft. in Warsaw. It was tested in mid-2012 flowing 25 bbl. of crude through perforations in Warsaw at 3,956-63 ft. To the northeast is an Aux Vases oil well, #1 G. Brown-Schofield that was completed in September 2012. This venture produced 20 bbl. of oil and 100 bbl. of water through perforations at 2,942-56 ft. It was also permitted to 7,000 ft., but the well was completed at 4,907 ft. John Scofield is based in Carmi, Ill.
