Description
In Hardeman County (RRC Dist. 9), Texas, Bridgeport, Texas-based Sutherland Energy Co LLC has completed a vertical oil producer. The #5 Hamrick was tested flowing 80 bbl of 44.6-degree-gravity oil, 12 Mcf of gas and no water per day from untreated Chappel perforations at 8,582-90 ft. Gauged on a 5/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,050 psi. The discovery was drilled to 8,812 ft, with a plug-back depth of 8,758 ft. It is on a 160-acre Hardeman Basin lease in Section 168, Block H, W&NW RR Co Survey, A-748 and will be placed in Quanah Field. Initially permitted as #5H Hamrick, the proposed south-trending horizontal leg will not be drilled.
