In Texas’ La Salle County (RRC Dist. 1), Verdun Oil & Gas completed four Eagle Ford Shale wells named for American actor Tom Hanks. The Eagleville Field pad is in Section 58, Andres Menchaca Survey, A-566. The #23 Tom Hanks EF was drilled to 17,895 ft, 8,952 ft true vertical, and flowed 984 bbl of oil, 561,000 cu ft of gas and per day from perforations at 9,425-17,776 ft. The #24 Tom Hanks EF was drilled to 18,055 ft, 8,948 ft true vertical, and flowed 840 bbl of oil, 1.087 MMcf of gas and 936 bbl of water per day from perforations at 9,350-17,901 ft. The #25 Tom Hanks EF was drilled to 18,324 ft, 8,928 ft true vertical, and flowed 1,032 bbl of oil, 722,000 cu ft of gas and 816 bbl of water per day from perforations at 9,475-18,176 ft. The #26 Tom Hanks EF was drilled to 18,350 ft, 8,905 ft true vertical, and flowed 1,008 bbl of oil, 406,000 cu ft of gas and 744 bbl of water per day from perforations at 9,500-18,201 ft.
