EQT Corp. is under way at a Greene County, Pa., Utica Shale test. The #592686 Johnston was permitted in 2014 to a total depth of 22,318 ft, 13,656 ft true vertical. The horizontal well will be drilled from an existing Marcellus Shale pad. EQT expects the well to include a 4,000 to 4,500-ft lateral. About 4 miles to the southwest is #591340 Scotts Run, which flowed 72.9 MMcf of gas per day. It has been shut in for installation of permanent production facilities.
