Description
Two Red River Parish, La., Hayneville discoveries in Woodardville Field were reported by Comstock Oil & Gas. The discoveries were drilled from a pad in Section 4-14n-9w. The #1-ALT BRP 4-14-9 H was drilled to 17,477 ft and the true vertical depth is 12,485 ft. It flowed 30.11 MMcf of gas per day during testing on a 28/64-in. choke with a flowing casing pressure of 8,047 psi. Production is from a perforated zone at 12,766-17,428 ft. The offsetting #2-ALT BRP 4-14-9 H was drilled to 17,549 ft, 12,530 ft true vertical. The venture was tested flowing 26.46 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 12,832-17,494 ft. Gauged on a 26/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 7,135 psi. Comstock’s headquarters are in Frisco, Texas.
