Description
XTO Energy Inc. has completed two horizontal Woodford Shale producers in Oklahoma’s Marshall County. The Madill Field ventures were drilled from a pad in Section 33-4s-5e. The #2-33H34X35 Goodman was tested through acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 9,535-23,024 ft flowing 399 bbl of 40° API crude, 3.067 MMcf of gas and 933 bbl of water per day. The flowing tubing pressure was 586 psi during testing on a 1-inch choke. The total depth is 23,161 ft and the true vertical depth is 7,799 ft. The lateral bottomed about 2.5 miles to the east in Section 35-4s-5e. The parallel #3-33H34X35 Goodman flowed 281 bbl of 40° API oil, 749,000 cu ft of gas and 1,060 bbl of water daily from Woodford at 9,480-22,897 ft. The acid- and fracture-treated lateral bottomed at 23,030 ft (7,658 ft true vertical) in Section 35.
