Description

Newfield Production Co. completed two horizontal Wasatch pay discoveries from a drillpad in the Uinta Basin. The #13-10 4-2-9-4-11H Knoll is in Section 10-4s-2w of Duchesne County, Utah. It was tested flowing 1 Mbbl of oil, 599 Mcf of gas and 1.943 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a Wasatch lateral drilled to the south-southeast to 18,285 ft (8,358 ft true vertical) with a bottom-hole location in Section 22. It was tested on a 22/64-in. choke after fracturing in an undisclosed number of stages. The #13-10 4-2-10-3-17H Knoll initially flowed 893 bbl of oil, 551 Mcf of gas and 2.127 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a lateral drilled to the northeast to 18,190 ft (8,357 ft true vertical) and it bottomed in Section 3-4s-2w. It was tested on a 22/64-in. choke after fracturing in an undisclosed number of stages.
