Description
Results from a two-section horizontal Frontier producer on the southwestern flank of the Powder River Basin were announced by Denver-based Northwoods Operating LLC. The #3976-14-23-1FH Steamboat-Federal is in Section 14-39n-76w of Converse County, Wyo. It initially flowed 736 bbl of oil, 979 Mcf of gas and 653 bbl of water per day. It was tested on a 48/64-in. choke following 31-stage fracturing between 12,970 and 22,500 ft. The Frontier lateral extends south-southeastward to 22,588 ft (12,522 ft true vertical) at a bottomhole location in Section 23-39n-76w.
