Description
Houston-based Pacific Energy Development Corp. has completed two horizontal San Andres wells along the Roosevelt/Chaves county line in eastern New Mexico. The #305H Haley Chaveroo SA Unit was tested on-pump flowing 628 bbl of oil, 700 Mcf of gas and 4 Mbbl of water per day. Acid- and fracture-stimulated perforations are at 5,505-9,400 ft. The Chaveroo Field well was drilled to 9,533 ft, 4,228 ft true vertical, and is in Section 34-7s-33e of Roosevelt County. The horizontal leg bottomed about 1 mile to the south in Chaves County in Section 3-8s-33e. The offsetting and north-trending #345H Haley Chaveroo SA Unit was drilled to 9,582-ft, 4,259 ft true vertical. It was tested pumping 672 bbl of crude, 800 Mcf of gas and 4.5 Mbbl of water daily from the San Andres at 4,900-9,358 ft. It was acidized and fractured in an unspecified number of stages and bottomed in Section 34-7s-33e.
