Description

IHS Markit reported that Millennium Exploration has completed two Peach Creek Field-Austin Chalk wells in Gonzales County (RRC Dist. 1), Texas. The #1H Chalk Talk flowed 419 bbl of 35° API crude and 80,000 cu ft of gas daily through a natural openhole interval at 7,597-12,185 ft. The flowing tubing pressure was 610 psi during testing on a 12/64-inch choke. The horizontal oil well was drilled to 12,185 ft (7,825 ft true vertical) in Section 1, Sarah Seeley Survey, A-60. The well bottomed within 1 mile to the northeast beneath the same survey. The #2H Chalk Talk was tested flowing 360 bbl of 35° API crude, 40,000 cu ft of gas and 300 bbl of water per day through an openhole interval at 8,497-11,846 ft. The flowing tubing pressure was 306 psi during testing on a 20/64-inch choke. Total depth is 11,846 ft (8,719 ft true vertical). The horizontal sidetrack, which was drilled out of an 8,917-ft pilot hole on an 880-acre lease in Section 2, Jonathan Cottle Survey, A-10, bottomed within 1 mile to the northeast.
