Description
88 Energy Ltd. has proposed drilling two North Slope exploratory tests from ice pads at the Perth-based company’s Icewine project in Umiat Meridian, Alaska. The #1 Bravo will be in Section 24-4n-10e, and #1 Charlie will be in Section 13-4n-9e. The #1 Bravo will be drilled on ADL lease 393059 and #1 Charlie will be drilled on ADL lease 393043. The planned true vertical depths for both wells are 11,000 ft and will test stacked conventional oil objectives within SeeBee. The same target was found in surrounding exploration wells and is currently on production in the nearby Kuparuk River Unit’s Meltwater oil pool located about 20 miles to the north.
