Description

Dallas-based Chief Oil & Gas completed two Marcellus Shale wells from a pad in Bradford County, Pa. The new field wells are in Section 3 Powell 7.5 Quad, Franklin Township. The #3HX Jacobson Unit flowed 20.05 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 7,585-17,210 ft. The shut-in casing pressure was 2,287 psi. The venture was drilled to 17,731 ft with a true vertical depth of 7,642 ft. About 30 ft to the southeast, #4HX Jacobson Unit was drilled to 17,466 ft, 7,602 ft true vertical. It was tested flowing 19.05 MMcf of gas per day with a shut-in casing pressure of 2,298 psi from perforations at 7,870-17,306 ft
