In Ohio County, W. Va., Southwestern Production completed two Marcellus shale wells in Liberty Dist., Bethany 7.5 Quad. The #205H Couch Shawn Ohi was drilled to 15,022 ft (6,125 ft true vertical) and produced 758 bbl of oil and 5.004 MMcf of gas per day. It was tested after 39 stages of fracturing and production is from perforations at 6,885-14,955 ft. The offsetting #201H Couch Shawn Ohi was drilled to a total depth of 24,570 ft and a true vertical depth of 6,008 ft. it initially flowed 1,243 bbl of oil and 10.257 MMcf of gas per day from a perforated zone at 6,735-24,486 ft at 85-stage fracturing. Southwestern’s headquarters are in Spring, Texas.
