Chief Oil & Gas LLC completed two Marcellus discoveries from a drillpad in Bradford County, Pa. The pad is in Section 5 Colley 7.5 Quad, Wilmot Township. The #4H Kaufmann East Unit was drilled to 14,032 ft and has a true vertical depth of 8,844 ft. After 28-stage fracturing, it flowed 8.457 MMcf of gas per day from perforations between 8,864 and 13,689 ft. The #5H Kaufmann East Unit produced 8.325 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 8,601-12,735 ft. It was drilled to 13,829 ft and the true vertical depth is 8,572 ft. Chief’s headquarters are in Montoursville, Pa.
