Description

Radnor, Pa.-based Penn Virginia Corp. completed two Lavaca County (RRC Dist. 2), Texas, Eagle Ford wells in Eagleville Field. The #1H Porter Unit flowed 2,045 bbl. of 50-degree-gravity oil, 3.75 million cu. ft. of gas and 905 bbl. of water per day. Production is from a fracture-stimulated zone at 12,401-19,564 ft. Tested on a 22/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 4,602 psi. This well is in Thomas Toby Survey, A-456, and the lateral bottomed about two miles to the southeast at a total depth of 19,661 ft., 12,404 ft. true vertical. From an offsetting surface location, #1H Kosmo Unit flowed 1,673 bbl. of 50-degree-gravity oil, 2.97 million cu. ft. of gas and 8,761 bbl. of water per day. Fracture-treated perforations are at 12,199-17,944 ft. Gauged on a 22/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 3,645 psi. The total depth is 18,076 ft., 12,310 ft. true vertical, and the lateral bottomed more than one mile to the southeast.
