Description
On the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in Mountrail County, N.D., Houston-based Marathon Oil Corp. completed two high-volume, extended-reach horizontal producers in Antelope Field. The #14-22TFH Veronica-USA is in Section 22-151n-94w. It was tested flowing 4.855 Mbbl of oil 7.839 MMcf of gas and 5.653 Mbbl of water per day from Upper Three Forks. Production is from a horizontal lateral in extending from 11,212 ft northward to 21,005 ft with a bottomhole location in Section 15-151n-94w. The true vertical depth is 10,760 ft. It was tested on a 58/64-in. choke following 45-stage fracturing between 11,363 and 20,857 ft with a flowing casing pressure of 1,475 psi. About 1 mile east in Section 22-151n-94w, #34-22H Begola-USA flowed 4.093 Mbbl of 41-degree-gravity oil, 3.169 MMcf of gas and 2.347 Mbbl of water per day from Middle Bakken. It was tested on a 40/64-in. choke following a 45-stage fracturing between 11,210 and 20,760 ft. Production is from a lateral extending from 11,149 ft northward to 20,900 ft, 10,644 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 15-151n-94w.
