Description

Two high-volume, Middle Bakken wells were completed from an Antelope Field drillpad in Section 2-151n-94w in McKenzie County, N.D., by Marathon Oil Corp. The #11-1H Mark USA is producing 8.16 Mbbl of oil, 9.77 MMcf of gas and 4.104 Mbbl of water per day. The 21,112-ft well has a true vertical depth of 10,748 ft and bottomed in Section 12-151n-94w. Production is from a south-trending Middle Bakken lateral from 11,391 ft to total depth. After 45-stage fracturing, it was tested on a 64/64-in. choke and the flowing casing pressure was 1,450 psi. The #41-2H Shoots USA flowed 4.125 Mbbl of oil, 5.205 MMcf of gas and 2.242 Mbbl of water per day. It was drilled southward to 20,833 ft, 10,713 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 11-151n-94w. It was tested on a 30/64-in. choke after 45-stage fracturing between 11,169 and 20,701 ft. The Middle Bakken lateral extends from 11,069 ft southward and bottomed in Section 11-151n-94w.
