Description
Two McKenzie County, N.D., Haystack Butte Field wells were completed by Continental Resources Inc. from a pad in Section 25-149n-98w in. The #5-25H1 Palmer had a total depth of 21,963 ft and a true vertical depth of 11,278 ft. It was tested after 42-stage fracturing flowing 908 bbl of 46° API oil, 2.206 MMcf of gas and 1,808 bbl or water per day from Three Forks. Gauged on a 40/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 160 psi and production is from Upper Three Forks perforations at 11,790-21,963 ft. The #2-25H1 Palmer was drilled to 21,845 ft, 11,299 ft true vertical. and produced 1,254 bbl of oil with 2.266 MMcf of gas and 2,655 bbl of water per day from Three Forks perforations at 11,363-21,845 ft. It was tested on a 40/64-inch choke and the flowing casing pressure was 160 psi. Continental Resources is based in Oklahoma City.
