Description

Houston-based ConocoPhillips completed two Ford West Field-Upper Wolfcamp A discoveries in Reeves County, (RRC Dist. 8) Texas. The horizontal ventures were drill from a pad in T&P RR Co Survey, A-603. The #5H El Jefe WC has a total depth of 20,566 ft and a true vertical depth of 9,911 ft. It initially flowed 409 bbl of 50° API oil and 2.059 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 10,110-20,325 ft. Gauged on a 1/64-inch the flowing tubing pressure was 2,831 psi and the flowing casing was 2,831 psi. The #6H El Jefe WC was drilled to 20,790 ft, 10,043 ft true vertical. It produced 223 bbl of 50° API oil and 2.498 MMcf of gas daily. Production is from a perforated zone at 10,389- 20,651 ft. It was tested on a 1/64-inch choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 1,886 psi and a flowing casing of 1,886 psi.
